Spanning across two days, on the beautiful island of Maui, the Ua Noa festival will not be organized like a traditional event. All the talents and resources of the guests will be put into action, creating an environment that is cocreated by the people who attend.

You can add your flavor to the mix by clicking here and letting us know what you have to share.

Our intention with this event is to give people direct experience of global community in a way that recognizes their unique voice as a vital piece of the puzzle.

We are not 'putting on a show' for entertainment, but instead we are interested in seeing what shows up, and recognizing the amazing synergy that can occur when intentional community self organizes.

It will be totally interactive experience, with the structure of the event facilitating on-the-go collaboration and exploration. There will be interactive games, workshops and discussion, and some performances and presentations, but exactly how it will look, we do not know!

As we learn more about the people who are attending, we will post more information about how we expect the festival to look. Right now, like you, we are waiting for the petals of this flower to unfold and reveal their beauty.

On Saturday we’re hosting a smaller event. It will be an opportunity for the guests who are interested in participating to meet each other and connect, and set the intention and vibe for the event the next day.

On Sunday is the big festival open to the public. It will appeal to people from all walks of life, all cultures, and all ages. There will be vendors selling local crafts and food, and it will feature a performance from the Izanai Dance Academy on the main stage.

Joining forces to create this unique event are organizations based in San Francisco, Maui and Japan:

- New World Group is a non profit organization exploring accelerated learning, human potential and holistic planetary strategies.

- Izanai (meaning ‘Sacred Invitation’) Dance Academy is a Japanese phenomenon that has influenced over 7000 dance troupes.

- Beauty Engine- West Coast pioneers of community building and event production. ‘Burning Man’ veterans, they are bringing a bohemian vibe to the festival and instigating the collaborative, interactive approach the festival is taking
